History

At the beginning of 1850, Don Tomas Polo and La Borda undertook the visionary adventure of developing the cultivation of cocoa and coffee in the Echarate farm, in the Valle de la Convención, a tradition that over the years was maintained and that Borda is now following this noble tradition that keeps the most rigorous standards of quality, production and care of the environment, today offers this privileged product; planted between 1680 and 1760 m.m. with shady plantations, within the Fundo Villa Hermosa, in the district of Echarate, 115 km from the city of Quillabamba in the Valle de la Convención, Cusco, Peru. The unique aroma, the body and the fruity flavor are the most important qualities, result of the careful production process.
